This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, why we collect it and what we do with it. We've kept it short and in plain English.

What We Collect, and Why
- Contact form. Your name, email address, company, and what you tell us about your project. We use it to reply to you and to prepare a quote if you ask for one.
- Diagnostic. The two answers you choose. If you ask us to email your recommendation, we also collect your email address and keep a copy of the recommendation so we can follow up.
- Newsletter. Your email address, so we can send you the newsletter. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email.
- Booking a call. If you book through our scheduling page, the details you enter there are handled by Calendly under its own privacy policy.
- Analytics. We use Plausible, a privacy-friendly analytics service, to count visits. It does not use cookies and does not collect personal information.
We rely on our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries and running our business, and on your consent for the newsletter.
Who We Share It With
We don't sell your information. We use a small number of service providers to run this site:
- Vercel hosts the website.
- Resend delivers our emails and stores the newsletter list.
- Anthropic generates the diagnostic's written recommendation. Only the answers you choose are sent. Your name and email address are not.
- Plausible provides cookie-free visitor statistics.
- Calendly handles call bookings.
Some of these providers process information outside the UK. Where they do, they rely on recognised safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
How Long We Keep It
We keep enquiries for as long as we need to deal with them and for our business records, then delete them. We keep your newsletter subscription until you unsubscribe.
Cookies
This website does not set tracking or advertising cookies.
Your Rights
You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Email hello@madebykiln.co.uk and we'll respond within one month. If you're unhappy with our response, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes to This Policy
If we change this policy, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
